100th Anniversary Group Picture, April 2010
Regular meetings are held at 7:30 PM at the clubhouse, 384 Main Street, Laurel, MD on the first Thursday evening of each month, September through May, unless otherwise noted.
September 6, 2012, 6:30 p.m. – Welcome Back Salad Supper. Also, there will be a brief presentation by a speaker from the Alzheimer’s Association.
October 4, 2012 – Annual Membership meeting. Individuals interested in club membership are welcome and encouraged to attend this meeting. The speaker will be from Neighborhood Acupuncture in Laurel.
November 1, 2012 – Our speaker will be from “Side by Side” in Laurel.
November 29, 2012, 6:30 p.m. – Club meeting. Decorate for Breakfast with Santa, pizza party, gift exchange.
September 15, 2012, 8:00 a.m. until noon -- Annual Yard Sale, 16201 Bond Mill Rd., Laurel
September 16. 2012 -- Order deadline for our annual Mum Sale. Beautiful fall flowers—Mums in choice of pink/lavender, white, yellow/bronze or red-- $6.50. Also available this year, mixed pansies in 4” pots, no color choice--$2.50. Pick up Friday, October 5 after 4:00 or Saturday morning, October 6 (or call 301-385-7159 to arrange alternate pick-up time)--15403 Clayburn Drive, West Laurel. Right: This Waterford crystal chandelier hangs in the dining room of the mansion and was donated by WCL in 1978. At that time, it cost the club $900.
