Upcoming Events

The GFWC Women's Club of St. Mary's County is presenting a Home and Garden Tour of select homes on Lighthouse Road in Piney Point which includes the Piney Point Lighthouse and Museum on June 10th from 1 PM to 5 PM. Advance tickets are $20, the day of the tour $25 or $5 per house. Vendors will be on site. There will also be a drawing that is included in the price of the ticket at 4 PM. You must be present to win. Advance tickets are being sold at various locations in St. Mary's County. For further information contact Noreen Neel at 301-994-1038 or email eandn@myway.com.

Club News

Some of the community service activities that the members are involved in are: Meals on Wheels, Scholarships, HOBY(Hugh O'Brian Youth leadership Congress for Sophomores), library activities, Youth Art Contest, therapeutic riding support, food banks and Hospice. Funds are raised in various ways. The biggest fund raiser for the Club is the St. Mary's County Oyster Festival where the members rent a building to use for a bake sale, used book sale, flea market and crafts.
