Helping Hands Program
Ronald McDonald House
- GFWC Maryland is supporting the Baltimore area Ronald McDonald House
- We are collecting wish list items and soda pull tabs. You may bring these items to any state meeting
and our chairman will deliver them for your club.
- Wish List of Needed items for the House:
- Bath and bedroom needs: Bath and hand towels, sheets (full and twin), liquid hand soap
- Entertainment needs: Books, game cube, play station, Nintendo, outing tickets (movies, restaurants), passes for Zoo,
Aquarium
- Kitchen needs: Soap for dishwasher and for sink dishes, sponges, kitchen towels, oven mittens, paper towels, Ziploc baggies,
Aluminum foil, napkins, paper plates and utensils, sugar packets, coffee trash bags (all sizes), fabric softener sheets, Windex, soft scrub,
toilet paper, disposable gloves, Lysol spray, Clorox bleach spray
- Office needs:Postage stamps, masking & packing tape, white lined paper, padded mailing envelopes
Dollars and Sense Program
- A new program this administration to education members and others about the value and
and need for retirement planning and to provide valuable financial information regarding checking
credt, giving wisely, identifying theft and social security.

- Shingles: Order the new free Shingles Kit by looking in the GFWC Clubwoman magazine.
- Diabetes: National Diabetes Month is November.
- Stroke: free kit sent to all clubs in August 2006
- Alzheimer's Disease: Order the free kit.
