Public Affairs Department

Activities in this department are designed to increase awareness of crime prevention, safety, assisting veterans and the importance of good citizenship.

Citizenship Program

  • Historic preservation: Top priority is to celebrate and educate "your" local community by utilizing Preservation Week (2nd week in May). www.nationaltrust.org
  • Veterans Affairs:
  • Citizenship "Participation is the key to democracy."
    • Get out the VOTE! Invite speakers to your meetings and sponsor forums. Encourage government and other leadership participation
